The GDPR will apply to personal-data processing only where its territorial-scope requirements are satisfied. Additional information is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise by a properly licensed healthcare professional, our services are intended for relaxation and general wellness.
They are not a substitute for:
Medical diagnosis;
Medical treatment;
Physiotherapy;
Emergency care;
Mental-health treatment; or
Advice from a physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
Our therapists do not diagnose disease, prescribe medication or guarantee that a service will cure an injury, illness or medical condition.
You should seek professional medical advice before booking where you are uncertain whether a service is suitable.
In a medical emergency, contact the UAE emergency services. Do not use our website, WhatsApp or booking channels for emergency medical assistance.
6. Booking Process
Bookings may be requested through:
Our website;
WhatsApp;
Telephone;
Email;
Social media;
An approved partner platform; or
Another booking channel authorised by Mai Tai.
A booking request is not confirmed until we expressly confirm:
The service;
Date and time;
Service address;
Duration;
Price and applicable fees; and
Any deposit or payment requirement.
Confirmation may be provided electronically, including by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
We may contact you to verify your location, service requirements, health considerations or access instructions before confirming a booking.
7. Customer Information
You agree to provide complete and accurate information, including:
Your name and contact number;
The correct service address;
Building and access information;
The identity of the service recipient;
Relevant health, pregnancy, allergy or injury information;
The requested service and duration; and
Any circumstances that could affect the therapist’s safety or ability to provide the service.
You are responsible for mistakes, delays or failed appointments caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.
8. Prices and Additional Charges
Prices are displayed or quoted in UAE dirhams.
Unless otherwise stated:
The confirmed price applies to the selected service and duration;
Prices may differ by service, duration, location or number of therapists;
A transport charge may apply to certain locations;
The website currently indicates that an AED 50 transport fee may apply to certain offers or bookings;
Parking, toll, remote-location or building-access costs may be charged where disclosed before confirmation;
Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly permitted; and
Prices may be changed before a booking is confirmed.
The price applicable to a confirmed booking will not normally be changed unless:
You request an additional service or longer duration;
The information originally provided was incorrect;
An additional charge was clearly disclosed and accepted; or
A correction is required by law.
9. Payment
Available payment methods may include:
Cash;
Debit or credit card through a POS terminal;
Payment link;
Bank transfer;
Gift certificate; or
Another method approved by Mai Tai.
We may require full payment or a deposit before confirming certain bookings, packages, corporate services or gift certificates.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
Where a third-party payment provider processes the transaction, its terms and privacy practices may also apply.
10. Electronic Communications
You agree that bookings, confirmations, notices, receipts and contractual communications may be provided electronically through:
WhatsApp;
SMS;
Email;
The website; or
Another agreed electronic channel.
Electronic communications and confirmations may constitute valid records of the transaction to the extent permitted by UAE law.
You are responsible for maintaining access to the telephone number and email address supplied during the booking.
11. Appointment Changes, Cancellation and Rescheduling
You should notify us as early as reasonably possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
Any specific cancellation period, deposit requirement or cancellation charge will be disclosed:
During the booking process;
In the booking confirmation;
Through WhatsApp or another booking channel; or
In a promotion, package or corporate agreement.
We may charge a reasonable cancellation, call-out or no-show fee where:
You cancel after the disclosed cancellation deadline;
You are unavailable at the confirmed address;
The therapist cannot gain access;
An unsafe or inappropriate environment prevents the service;
You provided an incorrect address;
You fail to disclose information that makes the service unsuitable; or
The therapist has already travelled to or arrived at the location.
Any applicable fee will be consistent with the terms disclosed before confirmation and mandatory UAE consumer rights.
12. Late Arrival and Delays
You should be ready at the agreed appointment time and provide timely building access.
If you are late or delay access:
The appointment may be shortened to avoid affecting later bookings;
The full confirmed price may remain payable; or
The appointment may be treated as a late cancellation where the service cannot reasonably proceed.
Although we aim to arrive on time, home-service appointments may be affected by traffic, weather, parking, building security or an earlier appointment.
Where reasonably possible, we will notify you of a material delay and offer an appropriate revised time, rescheduling option or other remedy.
13. Cancellation or Changes by Mai Tai
We may cancel, shorten, reschedule or modify a booking where reasonably necessary due to:
Therapist illness or unavailability;
Safety concerns;
Incorrect booking information;
Adverse weather or road conditions;
Vehicle or equipment problems;
Building-access restrictions;
A force-majeure event;
Suspected fraud or misconduct;
Legal or regulatory requirements; or
A disclosed medical contraindication.
Where we cancel for reasons not caused by the customer, we will normally offer:
Rescheduling;
A replacement therapist where appropriate;
A credit; or
A refund of any amount paid for the unprovided service.
The available remedy will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
14. Therapist Assignment
We will try to accommodate reasonable therapist preferences, but a particular therapist is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.
We may assign a replacement therapist with appropriate qualifications where the originally scheduled therapist is unavailable.
All therapists must be treated respectfully and professionally.
15. Home and Location Requirements
You must provide a safe, private, clean and suitable environment for the service.
You are responsible for ensuring:

Adequate space is available for a massage table and equipment;
The temperature and lighting are reasonably suitable;
Children and pets do not interfere with the service;
Valuable or fragile items are secured;
No illegal activity is taking place; and
No person at the location creates a threat, disturbance or inappropriate environment.
We may refuse to enter or may immediately leave a location that our therapist reasonably considers unsafe.
16. Customer Conduct and Zero-Tolerance Policy
Mai Tai provides legitimate professional massage and wellness services only.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Sexual requests, comments or conduct;
Indecent exposure;
Unwanted touching of a therapist;
Harassment, intimidation or discrimination;
Threats or violence;
Recording a therapist without consent;
Possession or use of illegal substances during the appointment;
Repeated pressure to provide a service outside the confirmed professional scope; and
Any conduct that may place a therapist at risk.
If inappropriate or unsafe conduct occurs:
The therapist may immediately stop the service and leave;
The full price may remain payable;
Future bookings may be refused;
The customer’s account or telephone number may be blocked; and
The matter may be reported to building security, police or another competent authority.
Stopping a service under this section does not limit any other legal rights available to Mai Tai or the therapist.

Pregnancy or recent childbirth;
Recent surgery;
Fracture or acute injury;

You experience pain or an adverse reaction;
Appropriate medical clearance has not been obtained; or
The therapist considers continuation unsafe.
You must immediately tell the therapist if you experience pain, dizziness, numbness, nausea, breathing difficulty, skin irritation or other discomfort.
18. Pregnancy and Postnatal Services
Prenatal and postnatal services may be subject to:
Pregnancy stage;
Medical history;
Physician approval;
Therapist availability and training;
Appropriate positioning and technique; and
Additional health screening.
You must disclose your pregnancy or postpartum status when booking.
We may decline or postpone a service where there is a high-risk pregnancy, complication or other safety concern unless suitable medical clearance is provided.
19. Allergies, Oils and Products
We use oils, lotions, candles, stones, herbs and other products depending on the selected service.
You must notify us in advance of:
Allergies;
Skin conditions;
Fragrance sensitivities;
Ingredient sensitivities; or
A preference to use your own product.
Although reasonable precautions are taken, we cannot guarantee that every product or item has been manufactured in an allergen-free environment.
You should stop the service immediately if irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs.
20. Personal Property
You are responsible for securing money, jewellery, electronics and other personal property before the appointment.
Mai Tai is not responsible for loss or damage unrelated to a proven act or omission by Mai Tai or its personnel.
Any allegation concerning missing or damaged property should be reported promptly so that it can be investigated.

Eligibility requirements;
Specified services;
Specific locations;

Expiry dates;
New-customer restrictions;
Minimum spending; and
Transport or other disclosed fees.
We may refuse a promotion that is expired, altered, duplicated, obtained through misuse or inconsistent with its published conditions.
23. Corporate Wellness Services
Corporate services may be governed by a separate written proposal, purchase order or service agreement.
Where a separate agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
The corporate customer is responsible for obtaining any required employee or participant permissions and providing a suitable service area.
24. Website Information
We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that:
Every service will always be available;
Every displayed price will be free from an obvious error;
The website will operate without interruption;
Content will always be current; or
Every link will remain active.
We may correct obvious errors and update website content without prior notice.
If a displayed error affects a booking, we will inform you before providing the service and allow you to accept the corrected information or cancel without an inappropriate charge.
25. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content—including text, branding, photographs, graphics, design, service descriptions and logos—belong to Mai Tai or are used with permission.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not, without prior written permission:
Copy or republish substantial website content;
Use our branding in a misleading manner;
Scrape or commercially exploit website data;
Modify or reverse-engineer website components;
Impersonate Mai Tai; or
Suggest an unauthorised partnership or endorsement.
26. Customer Reviews and Content
When you submit a review, photograph, testimonial or other content, you confirm that:
It is accurate and based on a genuine experience;
You have the right to submit it;
It does not violate another person’s rights;
It is not defamatory, threatening or unlawful; and
It does not contain unnecessary confidential or personal information.
We may request permission to reproduce a review or customer image in our marketing.
We may remove content from channels we control where it is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant or violates these Terms.
27. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to WhatsApp, social-media platforms, shortened links, payment services, booking platforms or other third-party websites.
Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for independent third-party content, availability or data-processing practices.
A link does not necessarily represent an endorsement unless expressly stated.
28. Privacy and Personal Data
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Where legally applicable, we also comply with the GDPR, including requirements concerning:
Transparency;
Lawful processing;
Data minimisation;
Security;
Data-subject rights; and
International transfers.
By providing information necessary for a booking, you acknowledge that it will be used to:
Respond to your enquiry;
Confirm and perform the service;
Communicate with you;
Process payment;
Coordinate a therapist;
Address relevant health and safety considerations; and
Maintain required records.
Health-related information should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for service safety.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
29. Service Outcomes
Massage and wellness results differ from person to person.
Statements concerning relaxation, circulation, muscle discomfort, appearance, cellulite, recovery or general wellbeing describe possible or commonly intended benefits and are not guaranteed outcomes.
A customer’s subjective dissatisfaction with an outcome does not automatically establish that the service was defective. This does not affect rights available where a service was not provided with legally required care or did not match the confirmed booking.
30. Liability
Mai Tai will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mai Tai will not be liable for:
Loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer;
A reaction resulting from an undisclosed allergy or health condition;
A pre-existing condition not caused by the service;
Failure to follow safety instructions;
Indirect or consequential commercial losses;
Failure of an independent third-party platform;
Loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
Loss of unsecured personal property not resulting from our proven fault.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for:
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
Death or personal injury caused by legally established negligence;
Wilful misconduct; or
Mandatory consumer rights under UAE law.
Any limitation will be interpreted and applied only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
31. Complaints
A complaint should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible after the appointment and should include:
Customer name;
Booking date and time;
Service received;
Contact number;
Description of the issue; and
Any relevant supporting information.
Complaints may be sent to:
Email: maitaiuae@gmail.com
Telephone or WhatsApp: +971 50 801 2644
We may contact the customer, therapist or relevant service provider and review booking and communication records.
Where a service has not been provided as confirmed, an appropriate remedy may include:
Re-performance;
Partial refund;
Full refund;
Credit;
Rescheduling; or
Another reasonable resolution.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances and applicable UAE consumer law.
32. Refusal or Suspension of Service
We may refuse or suspend a booking where reasonably necessary because of:
Non-payment;
Fraud or suspected fraud;
Abusive conduct;
Safety concerns;
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows;
Inaccurate information;
Unlawful activity;
Misuse of a promotion;
A contraindication;
Building restrictions; or
A previous serious breach of these Terms.
A refusal will not affect any mandatory refund or consumer right applicable to an amount already paid for an unprovided service.
33. Force Majeure
Mai Tai will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control, including:
Severe weather;
Flooding;
Road closure;
Major traffic disruption;
Accident;
Public-health emergency;
Government order;
Civil disturbance;
Utility or telecommunications failure;

Other comparable events.
We will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers and offer rescheduling, credit or an appropriate refund where required.
34. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations connected with them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Dubai.
The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute through good-faith communication.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides another forum or right.
Nothing prevents a customer from submitting a complaint to a competent UAE consumer-protection or regulatory authority.
35. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in:
Services;
Prices or booking methods;
Technology;
Business operations;
Legal requirements; or
Regulatory guidance.
Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not unfairly alter an already confirmed booking unless:
The customer agrees;
The change is legally required; or
The change is reasonably necessary for health or safety.
36. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
The invalid provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the minimum extent required to make it lawful and enforceable.
37. No Waiver
A delay or failure by Mai Tai to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
38. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the booking confirmation and any clearly disclosed service-specific conditions form the agreement between you and Mai Tai regarding the relevant service.
A separately signed corporate or commercial agreement may supplement or replace relevant provisions.
